Answered Prayers – “The Banker”

“More tears are shed over answered prayers than unanswered ones.”

Yesterday, Cocky Boys released the first installment of their new project “Answered Prayers”, featuring Jake Bass and Ricky Roman. Thankfully a friend of mine provided me the chance to watch the movie, and I was so blown away and fascinated that I decided to write a review.

Unlike most of the other fans I haven’t seen or read too much about this new project, so I could walk into this completely free from expectations. I just sat back and let it surprise me, knowing director Jake Jaxson – it would be great.

The movie starts of with a lot of scenes and pictures, all related to some kind of disaster or another bad incident that happened in the past. Everything was seen,  from political things all the way to natural catastrophes. And in between those images, news-reports you could see pictures/scenes of Jake Bass rapidly passing by. All this left me wondering…. did he have anything to do with that? Was a bad omen?

After this the movie continues with wonderful pictures of a skyline, combines with an alarm-like-sounding noise, as well as another picture of Jake Bass. This made me more and more suspicious and by now the movie had caught my full attention. I was curious and excited to find out what all this was about.

Then Ricky Roman blends in, we see him sleeping in his bed, waking up with booze and pills on his bedside table. Knowing that he’s the one playing “The Banker” in the movie, I literally frowned. It’s nothing new for me, and by now I am used to the fact, that Jake Jaxson’s mastermind leaves me wondering for most of the time. I usually need to re-watch movies like these for several times before I get the whole message. But that makes everything even more amazing and unique.

But the real confusing and weird part was just about to happen. While shaving, Ricky suddenly starts to use his shaving-brush and starts drawing on the mirror. Parallel to this we see Jake Bass touching another mirror at the same time. This led me, once again, to the assumption that Jake might be responsible for the drawing Ricky was creating. Especially when it’s revealed that the drawing looks just the same as a figure on the table Jake is in. This is getting more and more mysterious by the second.

Following this scene, we finally get to know who Jake really is, combined with some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen of him. Jake’s boyish and unique smile, his honest and serious face…but also his bright green eyes filled with tears. Stunning…down right stunning. I always had a soft spot for Jake’s eyes.  I also enjoyed to see all those old scissors and knifes and blades Jake was setting up on his table. It gave the whole scene an even more mysterious touch.

tumblr_mwwh1c4bFL1rtf9z3o1_500

But not only Jake looked at his very best in this scene, also Ricky Roman was set in a wonderful light. Showing off his perfect skin, his deep brown eyes and his soft looking, pink lips. Beauty at it’s very finest.

Both, Jake and Ricky, brought across a total mood change. Somehow it shifted from dark and lost, into something amazing, curious, wondering…almost like a discovery. We can watch Jake walking around Ricky, touching him, feeling him as he seem to explore the other male from head to toe.

The innocent curiosity get’s mixed with sexy attitude, an almost bossy Jake, start to cut his partners clothes. Huge scissors, sharp knifes doing what they are made for. And as I watch how Jake “destroys” Ricky’s clothes, said one looking almost terrified, I wondered what JJ intends to tell us with this.

But as Jake hands Ricky the mirror and asks him what he sees in there, almost forces him to look at himself, not just taking a quick glance but really look at himself, I finally realize what this is about. Jake cut away Ricky’s facade, he cut away all the thing’s Ricky surrounded himself with… he, more or less, cut him free from his fear. A fear Ricky voices himself. But well, that’s just my theory 😉

As the scene continues I find myself being amazed and stunned by the great dynamic those two boys have with each other. Jake’s mixtures of dominance and yet is he tender, careful and almost loving as he explores Ricky more and more.

Jake Bass has always been one of my favorite Cocky Boys, for one because he is such a powerful bottom (in the rare scenes where he actually bottoms). I love how vocal he is, those little throaty moans and whimpers. And even though Ricky is the “top-part” in this scene, it’s obvious that it’s Jake who’s the one in control at all times.

When I first heard the title “The Banker”  I had no idea what to expect, and certainly I did not expect to see Jake Bass and Ricky Roman in an almost romantic scene in between scissors and knives on the floor. Their sex is downright beautiful, passionate and sexy. Something I haven’t seen before. I expected (from the earlier mood, with Ricky and the alcohol and the confusion in my head), that the sex would be more rough, more fast. But it wasn’t. It was almost like watching lovers being together. All the passion, tenderness and lovingness. One hell of a scene.

All in all is Answered Prayers – The Banker another masterpiece from Cocky Boys. Another new and unique, never seen before project and movie. The studio never fails to surprise me, to remind me why I am so excited and so caught by them. Cocky Boys is breaking the boundaries of gay porn, venturing into new waters. Taking us on a new journey with every scene, every movie and yet they still keep their own style. Everything is still Cocky Boys.

I am amazed. I’m proud and I’m happy. Congratulations on another groundbreaking movie. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the project will look like!

“The Haunting Series” – way more than just porn.

“The Haunting Series” – way more than just porn.

The Haunting Part II – Into the woods

After the ending for “The Haunting” I was stoked to see what would happen next. I was eager and excited as I clicked on the movie and it started to load. Would I see what had happened to Dillon and Jake? Or would there be a totally new story line? I couldn’t wait to find out.

The music in the beginning was once again threatening and I remember immediately how the other movie had started, and yet there was a whole new feeling to it as well. This one seemed to be even darker, more mysterious. My excitement grew even more.

Then Dale Cooper comes on screen, taking pictures of this storm-shaken tomb, all the trees broken like toothpicks. I loved the imagery, it added even more to the weird, and subliminal feeling that I got from the very beginning. Plus, Dale looked absolutely adorable shooting these pictures!

While the movie goes on I get, yet again, the feeling as if someone was watching Dale as he strolls trough the house – I absolutely love this camera work. Also the mood changes between all calm, and almost comfortable to scared, spooky and just horrified. It’s like a real ghost story and you almost think you’re in the house yourself.

The sex scene between Dale and Joe (played by Ricky Roman) is one of my favorite scenes in this whole series. I love how Joe placed these little tokens on the desk, which left me wondering what they were and why they seemed to be so important to him that he carried them around everywhere. This scene was my first one with Ricky, and I believe it was the first time I’d seen Dale too, but I was immediately drawn into whatever was between them. I still can’t put my finger on it if Joe realized that he was with Dale, or if in his mind he was thinking it was his missing lover. The passion and lust between them was breath-taking and it seemed so honest and real. I really loved that. I generally found Dale to be a very good actor. He really did an amazing job in the whole series. Very realistic and passionate. I loved that.

Another thing I realized during this parts was that the amount of visions -concerning the two lost boys- got bigger and more extensive in this part. While Dillon and Jake saw the ghost just three times, besides the sex-scene with all three of them together, Dale had several encounters with Joe. That left me wondering how much of this really happened, or how many of these things he might have dreamed. It kept me, as viewer, curious and interested to see what might happen next.

The scene in the smokehouse, where Dale finds the box with all these little things, which we have seen earlier in Joe’s possession also added to my curiosity. How did they get there? And what meaning do they have to Joe? All these little secrets and wonderings gritted through the whole movie – I love it, I absolutely love it.

And yet again the movie ends with an amazing cliffhanger. I am still no friend of them but I loved how realistic Dale was. How he really seemed to be scared of what he was seeing. And who did he see? If it was Joe, why would he be so shocked?

haunting-pt2-38

All this is another great movie from CockyBoys, probably my favorite from the whole scene. Dale and Ricky did an amazing job playing their characters, so much that it often didn’t even seem as if they were acting at all. That’s how it has to be. It was more of a movie, with some super hot sex scenes, than just a porn movie. Great, great work.

The Haunting III – “One last kiss before goodnight”

Before this part of “The Haunting” the last part of the series I was even more nervous. In the last two parts, some weird thing had happened and I had lots of theories lined up in my mind and I was curious to see how they would work out.

My mind was busy with trying to put together what had happened between these two ghost who have haunted the house in the first two movies. How were they connected, what’s their story and what had happened to them in the end? Also, was I very curious to see Christian Wilde for the very first time and how he, as well as Max Ryder, would fit into this whole story.

A huge rush of relief washed over me when I saw Christian, or better Klaus, sitting by the computer as he watched the interviews with Dale and Jake. Which basically meant that they weren’t dead and that the ghosts hadn’t killed them, because that was another theory that had snuck its way into my mind.

From the very beginning I got the feeling that something was really weird and off about this Klaus character. He seemed odd, and who wants to buy a haunted house? But it got even more weird when I saw him dressed in exactly the same way that one of the ghost-boys had been before. This didn’t make any sense to me, not at all. Also, it seemed like he wasn’t a fan of speaking which made him really strange and just…scary. Christian really did a great job portraying Klaus like this and I loved how charismatic and almost intimidating he was. Great job!

haunting-3_0016

My favorite scene in this movie was definitely when Max, finally, reveals the true story about Raif and Joe. I am a romantic at heart and I get really sappy and their story is just…heart breaking. It’s a cliched story for the time they lived in but yet it was so beautiful, romantic and tragic. Not to speak of Arnaud and Ricky who really, really did an amazing job to bring their roles across. The chemistry between them was amazing and it seems like they’re a real couple. You immediately forget that this is just a movie, and not reality. Something every movie maker wants to achieve, I guess.

The music in the part where Max tells their story is absolutely great. The piano comprised so many emotions in its melodies. It’s the perfect choice for such a scene. I watched this scene several times because it was so touching and heart warming. It sends shivers down my spine whenever I watch it.

onelastkiss1

The following sex scene was crazy. Unlike all the other scenes before, I had the feeling that between these two… there was no emotion. Like they were not bound together by emotion. Dillon and Jake were a couple. With Dale and Joe there was this mysterious something about them which made them appear so close and so familiar with each other, where I still wonder if Joe might have searched for his lover and not really for Dale. But between Max and Klaus -it was just sex. Hot and super erotic sex and I loved how he really fucked him in every room in the house. But yet it left me with an odd feeling.

haunting-3_0125

The scene where Christian painted on the empty canvas is another proof of how great an actor he truly is. Through the whole movie it seemed like he was searching for something and I still couldn’t put my finger on what exactly it was. It didn’t even come to my mind that he was wanting to see the ghosts. That he had gotten the house to experience what he had heard from Dale and Jake in the interviews and so this scene, at first, left me still unsure about his true intentions. I loved how he sat there and how he experienced the visions, his hand shaking as he tried to paint on the canvas. And really… damn, that man has beautiful eyes!

haunting-3_0198

Now that I re-watched the movie for this review, and after a little conversation with a friend of mine, as well as Jake Jaxson, everything makes perfect sense to me. Everything seems a lot clearer now and leaves me here with even more admiration for the great work, not only the director, camera men and everyone else that was involved behind the scenes, but also for what the models/actors have achieved here. Also, to be mentioned, the great display of Jake Jaxson as Raif’s father. Just like the others, his acting was so authentic and real – just amazing. Great job!

haunting-3_0193

I also needed to re-watch all parts of this series to really get the hang of everything, to capture everything and tie it all together. All these little hints and hidden secrets were bound together in this last part of the series. All lose ends were knotted together and everything made sense. I love movies where you have several things build up during the plot, but I hate it when some are left untied in the end. Sure, some things have to be left for imagination, but some things just have to be explained. The team from CockyBoys have achieved all this in this movie.

The movie ends, just like every romantic movie should end, with a Happy End. Or at least I like to believe it does. The last vision for Joe and Raif finally being back together is for me the Happy End. It’s like… finally they have found each other and they’re now re-united and at peace. The scene between Joe and Raif is just like their whole story. It’s passionate, loving, it’s deep and full of yearning. And with their reunification they finally got their one last kiss before goodnight.

The Haunting – An Epilogue

For the epilogue I was pretty clueless about what to expect. Most of the questions I had have been answered through the third movie and so I went into this without any expectations at all.

I really liked how the viewers were guided through the whole movie by the voice of Dale Cooper (I hope it was Dale). His deep and soft voice and the way he spoke was really soothing and greatly fitting.

I loved the winter atmosphere this time, it gave the movie a whole new look and showed that it was not immediately attached to where “A kiss before goodnight” left off.

It was great to see Jake and Dillon back again and having them tie the last knots of the story back together as in, what happened after Dale had seen the ghost in the smoke house? What had happened to Jake and Dillon? Why did they disappear all of a sudden? All those questions, that had still remained, like a shadow in the dark were now answered and gave the whole project another sense of integrity.

And of course we also got another great scene between Jake and Dale. A very passionate and very natural sex scene. Both of them seemed to be very attracted to each other in a strong and natural way. They had a great chemistry. Once again a great job when it comes to the acting department – even though I am not sure if it was all acted, not at all. And it doesn’t matter, it was perfect.

So in the end everything came together, every question was answered, every mystery solved and most of all… Joe and Raif were finally at peace. A super romantic happy end which made me very happy as well.

My final conclusion for “The Haunting”

It’s a very emotional, erotic, passionate and romantic movie. It’s not just a porn-movie, something I was really scared of in the beginning, because I had never seen anything like this before. But no… it’s a REAL movie, with sexual parts in it. It’s a real movie, with a real storyline, great actors and great sex. It’s all in all an epic piece of art. The music fits with every scene and the camera work is amazing. The location is perfect for such a movie. It’s definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen.

Everyone who was involved in this, no matter in which way did an amazing job. The models are amazing – so authentic and real.

This is not just porn – this is CockyBoys!

Being pretty new in the position as porn-viewer, I was pretty excited to finally be able to watch “The Haunting” myself. Beforehand I had heard/read a lot of amazing reviews on the movie and I was convinced that there must be something to porn I had never seen before. So when I finally got to watch the movies my expectations were really high and I was hoping they wouldn’t be destroyed in the end.

The movie opens with the scenery of a car driving on a lost and lonely road trough the woods, in the background plays music that we all know from every horror movie. Slow, dark and threatening. It let me assume that danger was close by and something bad was about to happen. The movie didn’t even last for a few minutes and I was on the edge of my seat already.

After that we zoom in on the couple that’s driving the car, joking and teasing each other back and forth. One of them suggests they make a stop at the cemetery and have some naughty fun together. The other one, displayed by Jake Steel, doesn’t feel very comfortable at the thought of having sex in a cemetery, which I can quite understand. Nothing’s more freaky and intimidating than an old cemetery.

The actual scene between Jake and his lover Dillon is hot and passionate. As a viewer, I enjoyed the feelings that were going on between the two of them and yet I always kept in the back of my mind where they were – in a cemetery. The location and the camera work in this scene were great and I loved how they chose a private, but yet not too private, place to go down with their business.

Image

During the sex-scene I kind of lost the edginess from the beginning and I relaxed into the situation. So they finished and went back to their car and all of the sudden…there’s this other guy. And as fast as he was there he disappeared again and it made me jump. Immediately I was back in my alert state wondering who he was and what was he was doing there. But then I remembered…they’re in a cemetery, he must be a ghost.

Image

The following scenes take place at the house the couple has booked for their vacation and yet again the mood relaxes. You see them being silly together, cooking, eating and having nice conversations. What I loved about the scenes was the way they were filmed. It made me think of… yeah, as if someone was watching them. Like someone sat behind the bookshelf, the window, or whatever and watched them, stalked them almost.

And so the mood always changes between edgy and calm, but never leaves you completely off the hook. You always have in the back of your head that there has been a ghost and seemingly it was now watching them together. Bringing in the fireplace, the Edgar Allen Poe story made everything appear even more romantic and creepy.

Image

Just like before I had settled down with them, my thoughts soothed by the romantic atmosphere during their little story and then the peace got disturbed by loud knocking on the door. Another mood change. I am back on the edge of my seat, curious to find out what’s causing this loud noise. Tensely I follow how Jake goes out into the dark garden, only a flashlight in his hand as he tries to find out what I want to know as well. Who has knocked on their door in the middle of the night? The stalker? The stranger from earlier in the cemetery? Yet again the music is perfectly fit as I watch him stumble through the dark backyard and all of a sudden…. A scream. I jump in my seat, probably just as scared as Jake himself as he sees the stranger -the ghost from earlier. My heart’s racing and I silently curse Dillon for not believing his lover as he hurries back inside to tell him what he had seen. There was a ghost and it was obvious that he had watched them.

In the next scene we see both of them laying in bed as the door is pushed open, but no one seems to step inside. Then, all of a sudden, the sheets are lifted, revealing the naked body of Dillon. What is going on? Then there is the stranger from earlier again, grabbing the sheets, but in the next minute he disappears again. At that moment it was clear for me that this guy was a ghost and he was about to step into direct contact with Jake and Dillon.

Image

Yet another sex scene follows. One of the best and most passionate threesomes I have ever seen. I always kind of disliked those because most of the time it’s just a mess and there are limbs everywhere. No one knows who’s doing who and so on. And yet, the team from CockyBoys achieved a really great scene between those three.

The way director Jake Jaxson chose to switch between making the stranger appear to be there and how he disappears in other moments lets me ponder if this is actually happening or is it just a fantasy of one of the other boys? It gave the whole scene a mysterious touch and I really enjoyed that.

After a phenomenal climax and one of the hottest cum-shots I’ve ever seen in a porn movie, everything goes back to normal. Jake and Dillon are alone in bed – the mysterious stranger had disappeared again. All my edginess from earlier was gone now because I actually thought most of the scary stuff had happened and so I watched Dillon go to the bathroom expecting nothing bad and then…. there he was again. The ghost. And yet again I jumped in my seat, my heart back to racing like crazy as I tried to wrap my mind around what had just happened.

Image

I’ve never been a fan of cliffhangers because they leave you in a state of surprise and curiosity. And knowing me I’ve never been much of a patient person so I always get impatient in such situations. But this time, after I got over my initial shock, I found this cliffhanger very wisely chosen. It kept the movie from ending “boring” and it kept the viewers’ attention until the very least second.

All in all “The Haunting 1” is one of the best porn movies I have ever seen. It’s not just a scene of two guys going at each other but it actually has a story to tell. There are surprise moments, great music, a scary and creepy ghost-stalker as well as a haunted house. Not to forget the smoking hot couple who actually get haunted. I enjoyed watching the movie through and through and my expectations from earlier never got disappointed.

It’s the perfect mixture of an actual horror movie and porn, bringing both together in the best way possible and mixing it into a scary, captivating, and passionate movie. Great work!
